The Women Overcoming Recidivism Through Hard Work (W.O.R.T.H.) at York Correctional Institution in Connecticut, in partnership with Vera’s Resorting Promise team, prepares incarcerated women to work with young people ages 18-25. The unit “prioritizes family engagement, self-expression, peer support, personal growth and development, education, and career readiness.”
