2015 California Senate Bill 124.
This bill states that juveniles with mental disorders are prohibited from being placed in solitary confinement. Juvenile inmates should only be placed in solitary confinement under certain circumstances, such as posing an immediate threat, which is not caused by a mental disorder, to another person or themselves. This bill has not yet been passed.
